Everyone, did you know that fireworks displays were also held in the Joseon dynasty? It’s said that as they ceased war, gunpowder was used for fireworks, and I can’t imagine how much more beautiful and interesting fireworks would have been back then.

Fireworks sometimes seen at university or big local festivals are now seen in many city celebrations. There will also be a fireworks festival in Songju on August 30th. I’m really looking forward to it because it’s been a long time since I’ve seen fireworks up close. I heard there will also be a night market at the festival, so I definitely intend to go.

I also have one other piece of good news. Thanks to everyone who showed lots of interest, smeraldos from Flower Smeraldo will be used to decorate the fireworks festival. Yes, the title of this post means I’m going to the fireworks, but it means the smeraldos are also going. If you find the smeraldos at the festival, please say hello. It would be great if you can recall the flower language and the legend of smeraldo.

The shop opening on August 25 is imminent, and since people ordered smeraldos around the opening, I’m twice as busy, but with thoughts of showing more people the beauty of smeraldo flowers, I’m working night and day, forgetting hard times.

I hope to meet everyone on August 25 at the Flower Smeraldo shop in Munhyeon, near Dongil Cinema, and on August 30 at the fireworks festival.
